So little concert and documentary, in taking the four steels caryatids Scorsese has tried his hand in an exercise in style anthology film: there are all sorts of shots and the overall effect is remarkable. Too bad the movie is just a concert, at the Beacon Theatre in New York (2006) in the presence of the entire Clinton clan, too. At the beginning of the film the Rolling Stones are even forced to do the honors with the whole retinue of relatives of former U.S. president! What should he be able to ask Monica! They bend but not break and after bowing they start playing with the office ever. Scorsese takes them wrinkle for wrinkle and shows how, after all, their bodies are still perfectly in tune with their music.
