François Ozon's new film looks like a mixture between the Dardenne brothers, David Cronenberg and Walt Disney. A story completely lowered into the reality of "banlieue" dull and gray whose protagonists working in factories and live in palaces sad. A couple of chicken wings that slowly pierce the skin a baby and they do flying. A child who sings joyfully in the air fall back. Yet throughout the story is coherent and its meaning is fairly clear, although some details remain undetermined and / or at the discretion of the viewer. The film dissects and analyzes the relationships between the various members of what could be a family and instead is just a set of confused and frightened people clinging to each other. What does all this in the winged child? Go see the movie, you will understand, and go away happy, fluttering.
