Two simultaneous events have raised a great interest in a sports facility that is also a historical monument, namely the Motovelodromo Corso Casale in Turin. The first

E così io mi getto in questo fiume in piena e ne approfitto per postare alcune immagini della mia tesi di Architettura, che spero conclusa per Natale di quest'anno, proprio sull'impianto in questione.
Ovviamente essendo una Tesi il confine tra il realizzabile e l'irrealizzabile è confuso, si tratta di un progetto ambizioso, ma mi sembrava giusto proporre qualcosa di particolare.
In sostanza l'impianto classico viene conservato, anche perchè protetto dalla Soprintendenza per i beni Architettonici , ma al suo interno viene creato un velodromo Indoor con pista in legno da 250 m omologata, con una copertura che si alza quando quet'ultimo viene usato, e si abbassa quando is used instead of the classic track, which is further enhanced by a structure of the stands copertuna totalmete mobile.
