Juno is released in the U.S. in December 2007, February 6, 2008 in France, while Italy will be seen only from April 4, 2008. Nothing wrong except that in reality for Italy this film has already passed and also won the second edition of the Rome Film Festival ! Now, I understand that common people who attended the Italian cinemas did not enjoy the same privileges to those who can enjoy the first fruits of the festival, but I also wonder what will serve to promote film festivals that have not reflected any impact on the cultural life of ordinary mortals. Well I mean, if a film wins festival in Italy, do not see why Italy should come out in the same four months after being released in France! Rewarding a film perhaps serves to promote and increase their visibility? Obviously this is not the point of view of O & Co. Veltroni who is not however, given the sensitivity of the center-left in this respect that the film was honored because it's about someone who chooses not to abort?
Comunuqe beyond this controversy, Juno is a great comedy, ironic, funny and also very intelligent. Like all comedies, this is not exactly realistic, then we should not wait for a proper analysis of the problems that may have a sixteen year old who becomes pregnant, this film has pretty good representation of the views at the same time cynical and naïve teenagers these days are about love, sex and married life. The same great humor of the dialogue and characters of this film is born the ease with which these teenagers are shown without being more open-minded now. Jason Reitman the rest is also the director of the sympathetic Thank you for Smoking. Excellent
the interpretation of the main character, twenty year-old Ellen Page which debuted in X-Men 3: The Last , before interpreting the disturbing Hailey in Hard Candy. The interpretation of Juno earned her a nomination for an Oscar as best actress.
So if you still want April to go to the movies, remember that this film will do well with a few laughs.
